Three Metacontingencies in the Pre-perestroika Soviet Union
Abstract
Three metacontingencies in the Soviet Union and some of their attendant problems are described. The metacontingencies are: (1) centralized control of the economy; (2) increased production as the primary goal, (3) maintenance of power and privilege by the nomenklature.
