Dan Matei
After 15 years as professional programmer, in 1990 he became the director of CIMEC ? Institute for Cultural Memory in Bucharest. So he is in charge of the Romanian national databases of movable heritage, archaeological sites and rare books.
Since 1991 he is vice-president of TermRom (the Romanian Association for Terminology) and from 2002 president of the ?Gellu Naum Foundation?. He is an active member of ELAG (European Library Automation Group) and of CIDOC (Documentation Committee of ICOM).
